WOLVES OF PERDITION is the latest addition to the Berlin-based cult label Folter Records. Even though the Finnish Black Metal duo is a rather blank slate so far, the debut album
"Ferocious Blasphemic Warfare" will change this permanently. The anti-religious first album bristles with aggression and follows a typically Finnish path: uncompromising and
characterized by ominous melodies, the hateful quartet writhes in the dirt. This is meant in the best possible meaning – "Ferocious Blasphemic Warfare" doesn't ask, but slams the door right
in your face. The devil is not only proverbially in the detail here, but is omnipresent in thediabolical work of the Finns without being mentioned in the lyrics. Instead of apologizing,
WOLVES OF PERDITION put their finger into the wounds of this world. Death, despair, hatred and violence dominate the lyrics without taking a concrete position. The primordial evil can be
found in every second of this work of darkness, and as pathetic as it sounds, as serious is the band about it.
"Whoever says A must also say B" is their attitude without walking on thin ice. The enemy is the religious institutions of world's history – without exception. Or to put it another way: the
lyrics of the Finnish Black Metallers are the counterpart to everything that is commonly considered to be holy. WOLVES OF PERDITION is not concerned with a political narrative but
that of the counterpart to religious society. "Ferocious Blasphemic Warfare" is a declaration of war on the flight into religious scriptures and prefers to show the corners of the world that no
one even wants to imagine in their imagination ... .
